Last summer Monson partnered with Axia Snowboards who helped enhance the core production capabilities of the shop. For months Monson worked with Pro Rider Tommy Czeschin and Matt Lindenmuth to get the materials and board tech right for Monson's sister brand Axia Snowboards. Axia's Team rider Tommy was invited to this years ESPN Winter X Games Superpipe competition. Tune in on Saturday for the prelims and Sunday for the Finals. If you miss it, ESPN will have it on repeats the following week.

After many months of trials and tribulations of getting the tech for the board right, increasing manufacturing capabilities, making sure all of the winner's loved their boards and were shipped their prizes, Monson has created for us a kick ass board that was beyond our original hopes and dreams.

Kasei is privileged to announce that we have access to the same core technology. Our core tech now consists of Carbon Fiber layups with a Bamboo sidewall. All of the great enhancements to our boards are listed on our website catalog technology page.
